Here's the answers to the most frequently asked questions we get asked at SmeeHee.

Account Management

I cant remember my username.

You can use your email address to sign into your SmeeHee account. If you don't know what email address you've used then you will need to contact us and we will help you resolve this issue.

I cant remember my password.

You can reset your password by visiting this password reset link and following the password reset instructions.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password from within your user account. Once logged in, you can update/change your password here.

Web Hosting

Which webhost do you use?

We use fasthosts to host your website for you.

What kind of hosting package will my website be on?

Whichever hosting package is required to provide you with a fast, reliable and secure website. We take care of all this for you so you dont have to worry about it :-).

What happens to my website if I cancel my support contract with you?

You own your website however, should you wish to cancel your contract, you will be responsible for finding an alternative web host for your website. You will also need to transfer your domain over to the new webhost. We will provide you with the most recent database and files for your website and provide you with assistance if you need it to move your website to your new host.

Menu Creation

How long will it take to create my menu?

We can normally take your current menu and have it active within 3-5 working days.

Is there a limit to how many products I can have on my menu?

No, there is no limit to the number of products you can have on your menu.

Can I add products to my menu?

No. We manage your menu for you. If you need to make any changes simply get in touch and we will make the necessary changes for you.

What if I have an product which is out of stock?

Although you cant make changes to your menu, you can control the stock of existing products. If you mark a product as out of stock in the product admin area the item will not show on your menu.

I have a lunchtime menu as well as a main menu, can you support this kind of setup?

Yes! With our opening times plugin, we can specify which products can be ordered and when. It is fully customisable and we will be able to provide this functionality for you.

I need to add products to my menu, what do I do?

Send the information over to us and we will update your menu for you. Depending on the amount of products needed to be added we can normally do this within 24 hours.

I am replacing my menu, what do I do?

Replacing your entire menu is a big job but we do include it as part of your support package. Please note it can take around 5-7 working days to create a new menu for you.

After-sales Support

What happens after I purchase a support package?

We will need some informatrion from you which we will ask for as soon as you complete your order. As soon as we have the necessary details we can start working on your webiste. This is general information like the domain name you want us to use, your menu, company name, address, bank details etc.

My website is down, what do I do?

On the rare occasion your website is down you can contact us at 247support@smeehee.co.uk. In the case of a website being down, we will probably already be aware of the issue and be working to get your website back online.
